ALTERNATIVE DISPUTE RESOLUTION

Our experience in alternative dispute resolution includes both international and Malaysian disputes. We advise our clients on the entire arbitration process, from the selection of the venue and procedure for the arbitration, the appointment of the appropriate arbitrator as well as to the terms of the arbitration agreement. We are also able to represent our clients at arbitration hearings as well as in Court for the enforcement or setting aside of arbitral awards.

Aside from arbitration, we also act for clients in adjudication proceedings under the Construction Industry Payment and Adjudication Act 2012.

We are also proponents of mediation. We are conscious of the fact that there may be more cost-effective methods of dealing with disputes other than arbitration and conventional dispute resolution. Where appropriate, we advise our clients on the feasibility of mediation and represent our clients at the mediation forum, assisting our clients to achieve the most cost-effective and efficient outcome.
