We advise and act for retail banks and financial institutions across a wide range of contentious matters, including the recovery of conventional and Islamic corporate and commercial facilities. We regularly advise our clients on matters such as the enforcement of securities, the restructuring of facilities, and corporate rescue mechanisms. We are also experienced in representing our clients in insolvency matters. We also defend banks against claims of breaches of fiduciary duties, breaches of statutory duties and negligence.

We are also approached by clients for advice on compliance and regulatory issues under Malaysian law. We represent and work closely with receivers and liquidators, advising them on priorities of payment in receivership or insolvency and on asset distribution.
