We advise and represent insurance companies and takaful operators on all aspects of life and general insurance law: from agency-related work to defence against claims in court, we consider life insurance and takaful law to be an area of practice we are well-versed in and very comfortable with. Our Managing Partner has drafted policy contracts and takaful certificates and all types of insurance and takaful-related agreements and documents; the first investment-linked policy document in Malaysia was drafted by him.

Our insurance law team frequently conducts legal clinics on developments in insurance law for both management and agency personnel. More recently, we had occasion to advise on business interruption losses brought about by the Covid-19 pandemic.
